  • Go to Safari > Preferences and select General
  • Next to “Safari opens with”, select A new window or A new private window from the drop-down menu.

Open Safari in the old tab:

– Go to Safari > Preferences and select General

– Next to “Safari opens with”, select All Windows from the last session or All non-private windows from the last session from the dropdown menu

When Firefox starts, one tab is opened by default, showing the home page you specified. You can set it by clicking the three-dot menu button and going to Settings > Home. Next, select the default Firefox Home.

To restore your old tabs at Firefox startup, click the three-dot menu button, select Settings, then General panel. Under Startup, check the box next to Open previous windows and tabs.
