You can set this only if you are using a custom domain. With this, you can redirect your main domain to a subdomain. For example – if I turn it ON and set the fallback subdomain, whoever searches www.xandertech.com.ng will be redirected to the subdomain xandertech.com.ng (subdomain can be anything, like ppg or dg).

Redirect Domain

You have to turn it on because you cannot host any domain without www. If it is OFF then turn it ON.

You can edit this option only when you are using a custom domain. Leave it ON. If it is OFF then turn it ON.

Posts setting

Maximum posts

With this setting, you can decide how many posts will appear on the main page of your blog. Like I have set 8 posts on the homepage of my blog, you can set it according to your convenience.

Archive Frequency

You can edit this setting only if you have added the archive widget to your blog. Daily – Your posts will be archived in the daily list. Weekly – Your posts will be archived in the weekly list. Monthly – Your posts will be archived in the monthly list. Yearly – Your posts will be archived in the yearly list. Post template You don’t need to do anything in it, let it be like that.

Image lightbox

Turn it ON. By turning it ON, if someone clicks on an image of your blog, the image will be maximized by popping up on the screen like a lightbox. If you turn it OFF, then whoever clicks on any image of your blog, the image will open in a new tab.

Comment location

Set it to embedded. That is the best. By setting it to embedded, the comment form will appear in the embed form below the post. If you set it to popup then the comment section will open as a popup form. And if you set it on a new tab then the comment section will bloom in a new tab.

You set it on users with Google accounts. With this only users with a google account will be able to comment on your blog and the chances of getting spam comments will be less.

Keep it set to always. By keeping it set to always, the comments of the posts will not appear in the blog until you approve them. To approve and reject comments, you have to go to the comment section of the blogger dashboard.
